I dont think Corey Hill should have won this fight, he barely did anything, it was an uneventful fight but atleast Emerson was hurting Hill with those leg kicks, Hill did not except throw a few jabs and hooks, I think Emerson got ripped off

I think Cory did enough to win it. I agree Emerson was landing the bigger blows in the leg kicks but Cory was pushing forward controling the fight and the octagon. But by far not a very exciting fight.

corey was controlling the fight. The few kicks that Emerson did throw were very effective making me wonder why he didn't throw more, expecially since Corey kept leaving that leg out.
Sloppy fight all around. That Joe Lauzon kid is a damn monster though!

Glad to see some coversation about the fights finally.
Emerson won the first 2 rounds so the third never should have happened !

Emerson never pressed the action. He was backing up most of the time and that's what the judges were looking at. IMO if he didn't get the heel hook at the end of the 2nd I think he would have lost that round too.

Emerson vs Hill was a boring, boring fight. In my opinion Hill looked like he was trying to be more aggressive then Emerson, Hill just seemed to lack the know how or experience sometimes. And plain and simply Emerson was trying to take as little chances as possible and hope to win a decision. so overall i agreed with a thrid round and i agree with the Hill decidion. But Hill probably wont last to much longer. I think Diaz or Lauzon has this show won.

Diaz Lauzon would be a GREAT final let's hope it plays out that way...................on a side note for all the hype hill looked horrible
